March Blog Challenge: Hidden Gems

By March 31, 2014General

Austin is a great place to visit to take in the buffet of music, film, technology and sports offered up consistently each year.  Our local foodies can point you to all the hot spots for dining in our annual City Guide, which is also available as an app this year (hooray!).  But you know, there are times when a retreat from the buzz is just what we need.  Here are a few tips from the Austin Food Blogger Alliance members to find hidden gems!

Balmy April is here, and so are the beautiful wildflowers. Time to light the BBQ, mix some drinks, and invite friends and neighbors over and blog about it! This month, AFBA will celebrate it’s birthday with a potluck BBQ (how this whole thing started back in the day). How many guests are perfect for your gatherings? Do you BYOB or play bartender? Tell us your secrets for a fun evening with friends!

This month’s Blog Challenge is Spring Entertaining. Send your entries to membership@austinfoodbloggers.org by April 30th to be included in the round up.
