Faraday’s Kitchen Store hosted Austin Food Bloggers Alliance for a Wüsthof Hands-on Knife Skills and Cooking Class. Keep reading for all the details about this fun educational event!
We were very excited to visit Faraday’s Kitchen Store for a knife skills and cooking class! Wüsthof is a German knife-maker known worldwide, and many of our members use Wüsthof knives in their kitchens because of their long-standing quality. During the class, we were able to try out different Wüsthof knives to find the one that best fits our style and needs.
Chef Scarleth Aguilar was on hand to help us improve our knife skills. We learned proper knife handling, maintenance, and using. She taught us a delicious menu of dishes! We enjoyed an arugula salad with edible flowers, baked stuffed tomatoes, and grilled halibut with sun-dried tomato pesto and saffron rice.
One of the best parts of this event? We got to pick our favorite Wüsthof knife to take home with us! Our members were thrilled and grateful to add a quality knife to their kitchens. You know us foodies will put them to good use!
Austin’s largest kitchen store, Faraday’s is 100% locally owned and operated since opening in 2005.
