It’s been a year of virtual meet-ups for Austin Food Blogger Alliance, so it was fitting to celebrate our annual holiday party online. Of course, as with much of this year, we wish we could get together to eat some good food and cheers with some good drinks, but we made the best of it and had a really fun time! We dressed in our festive holiday sweaters to catch up with each other and play an intense game of trivia.
We divided into four teams and each team came up with their team name: Merry Christmas You Filthy Animals, The Pointsettias, The Cookie Monsters, and Merry Catmus. Our members threw all their memory into three rounds of food-related trivia. We tested our knowledge about Austin food facts and cooking in general. For example, can you name all of the Austin barbecue joints on Texas Monthly’s 50 best list? Everyone agreed the questions were challenging but our members did really well putting their heads together!
