AFBA Happy Hour at Infinite Monkey Theorem with Austin Rotisserie

By June 19, 2020Events

We loved this happy hour so much, we came back! (Remember when we first visited them last year?) Infinite Monkey Theorem and Austin Rotisserie welcomed us back and we were very excited to try all the new things.

The Infinite Monkey Theorem is a cool place to hang out! It’s very spacious with laid-back vibes and really cool local art. Did you know they had local artists decorate the winery? We tasted Infinite Monkey Theorem’s tempranillo, merlot, sauv blanc, and viognier. The viognier came straight from the tank and it’s very refreshing!

Austin Rotisserie’s classic rotisserie chicken and potatoes wow by itself, but if you want more carbs, you’ll love the rotisserie chicken sandwich with arugula and goat cheese. You could also go for the classic ham and swiss. We also loved the charcuterie and fromage plate.

Don’t take my word for it. Here are some social posts from our members:

Had such a great time at our Austin Food Blogger Alliance Happy Hour tonight!  @atxfoodblogs @infinite_chimp_atx @austinrotisserie #AFBAHH Great #foodie company and we were absolutely spoiled by our hosts, Infinite Monkey Theorem and Austin Rotisserie.  Thank you!  I love the vibe of this urban winery. Over 35 local artists have painted all of the colorful and vibrant murals.  They have all different kinds of classes and events hosted here, including weddings. And wine bottling.  They serve you lunch and send you home with a bottle if you volunteer to help out. Tonight we tried several different wines, some canned, some from the bottle – love their Tempranillo and Merlot (it has a nice kick to it), and we even tried some Viognier that is going to be bottled very soon.  They use Texas grapes from High Plains vineyards to make the wine here.  Right now they are in the process of making a traditional sparkling wine the same method as champagne rotating the bottles often over a long fermentation process.  Really cool things going on. And Austin Rotisserie has the best chicken.  It is gluten-free and they have other options, but they also serve bread so there is a little possibility of cross-contamination.  Although, they will take great care to make sure to keep it safe as possible.  They don't cut the bread on the same cutting boards as the chicken.  The arugula is really nice, organic, and has some spice to it! What a fun night. #MonekyOnABender #infinitemonkeytheorem #imt #keepaustineatin #atxeats #foodtruck #eatlocal #keepaustindrinking #txwine #drinktexaswine #wine #winetasting #eastaustin #atx #512 #do512 #drinklocal #drinkingaustin #urbanwinelife #localartists #austin
